Timothy John Smith, age 66, of Hemet, CA, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Devonshire Care Center in Hemet, CA. Tim is how everyone knew him. He was born on Thursday, December 27, 1951 in Fullerton California. He was the son of the late Lawrence John Smith and the late Esther Lula (Murphy) Smith .

Tim was a teacher at Servite High School in Anaheim, California. He was also past director for religious education at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Hemet. Tim worked at other dioceses, Los Angeles dioceses, Orange diocese and San Bernardino. He loved to work with children. Participated in a lot of youth retreats. Tim had a passion for light houses. He has a large collection of them.

He is survived by his siblings Marilyn Dorn, Larry Smith, Richard Smith, Raymond Smith, Teresa Powell and John Smith.
