Life Story for Carol Lee Peper

Carol Lee Peper, 74 of Wildomar, California passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Christmas Cottage in Hemet, California. She was born on Friday, August 6, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Darrell and Sophia Boling. Carol loved to shop. She was an expert in finding deals and was right at home in any store or mall. Carol lived to go to the mall and find that special dress, blouse or nick knack she had to have. Needless to say she had many items with price tags in her closet but rest assured, she purchased them on sale. There is a sign in her room: " Let me shop , and no-one will get hurt! ". Carol was an animal lover. She cared for all animals and while living in Arizona, was a volunteer at the Haasayampa River Reserve in Wickenburg AZ. Carol had many family cat and loved all of them so very much. She considered them part of her family. Carol also loved her hats and she has quite a collection. Some were very reserved and others were considered loud by social standards. Carol enjoyed her Friday’s at the senior center where she played scrabble and took art classes, which she became very good at. Her family describe her as very social, family oriented a bit of a firecracker at time and very loving. Surviving are son her sons; Darrell Vasquez ( Lora ); James C Vasquez( Andrea) ; Daniel Peper and daughter Barbara Cave; Brother Steve Boling; Vicki Boling and Cynthia Boling; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death was her husband, Patrick Peper. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Miller-Jones Mortuary Hemet located at 1501 West Florida Avenue Hemet, California 92543. Interment will be in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Carols name to Animal Friends of the Valley at Animalfriendsofthevalleys.com
