November 21, 1926 – June 8, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Francis (Frank) D. Goodness announce that he passed away June 8, 2018 in Hemet, CA. Frank was born in Athol, MA spent the next 51 years in the Massachusetts / New Hampshire area before moving to Hemet, CA in 1977. He is survived by his children; Stephen and Aida Goodness of Selma, Oregon; Paul Goodness of Methuen, MA; Thomas and Susan Goodness of Penacook, NH; Eileen and John Williams of Falls Church; VA; Linda A Engstrom of Tewksbury, MA; Michael and Nancy Goodness of Allentown, PA. Frank also leaves behind 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his bother Paul Goodness of California, Theresa Roer of Florida, and A. James and Julie Goodness of Massachusetts. Frank also leaves behind his beloved partner of the past 8 years, Lucy Fredricksen.
A graduate of Orange High School, Frank went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University. Frank was also a veteran of WWII and the Korean War and was proud he was able to serve his country. Family and friends will celebrate Frank’s life on Thursday, June 14 at the Riverside National Cemetery. Service will begin at 10:30 am followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 PM at the Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida Ave, Hemet.
In lieu flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans in memory of Francis (Frank) Goodness.
