Obituary for Jacqueline Perrenoud

JACQUELINE PERRENOUD Jacqueline passed away on August 3, 2018 at Atria Senior Living in Menifee Valley. Survived by her children, Bobby (Linda) Perrenoud, Jeanne (Dave) Purinton, Janet (Chris) Williams, Mark Hover, son-in-law, 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grand- children. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob and her daughter, Jeri Lynn Hover. She was strong in her final days as she visited with many loved ones before succumbing to organ failure. She valiantly battled a brain tumor and dementia till the end. She died peacefully leaving many with cherished memories. She is also survived by her sister, JoAnn Jeffries and brother Bud Allen, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family was extremely important to her and through the years she kept contact by phone or sending cards. Throughout her life she enjoyed being a homemaker, reading, cooking, playing golf, spending time with friends, traveling, and time with loved ones during the holidays or special occasions. As she became progressively more home bound, she enjoyed watching various pastors on TBN, reading her Bible, and having Bailey on her lap, a loving and devoted Chihuahua, whom she referred to in her last days as her kitty cat. She was extremely blessed in the past 9 years to have her faithful companion Clarissa, and in the past few years, Tait, Michelle and Eva. Along with them she was fortunate to have received superb care from the assisted living facility, Atria Menifee Valley, where she resided for 2 years. They became like family and many of them were there during her final days. Arbor Hospice also provided excellent care during her last months of life and she passed without any suffering. Her beloved Bob would have been very pleased that she died with so many caring for her needs as she had done for him during his lifetime. She will be greatly missed. A viewing will take place from 11:30am-12:15pm preceding the funeral service which will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Sun City, CA. A celebration of life will follow immediately after. In lieu of flowers you are welcome to donate to your favorite organization or charity in her name.
