Ruben Laysa Bayot, age 71, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Sunday, August 12, 2018, in Moreno Valley, California. He was born in the Philippines on October 28, 1946 to the late Angel and Asuncion Bayot. Ruben served his country honorably in the Navy. He retired after 23 years of dedicated service and still worked within the US Military after his retirement for another 17 years.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Frances Bayot; daughters, Liza Tan and Hazel Hughes; grandchildren, Brianna Buccille, Alyssa Tan and Aubrey Hughes and a host of other family members and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, August 30, 2018. Funeral service will be at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Committal service to follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 11:45 AM.
