Life Story for
David Andrew Holloway, III
David Andrew Holloway III was born on March 22, 1936 in Ashville, North Carolina to the late David Andrew Holloway II and Bethel Hall. He was raised by his Aunt. David departed this life on August 15, 2018.
At the age of 17, he enlisted in to the Marine Corp. in 1953 and served 2 years. On September 13, 1959 he married the love of his life Dorothy Alberta Val (Holloway) they where married 47 years. He holds an Associates Arts degree is Psychology, which he like to say, he used it on the kids. He was a hard-working Father and Husband. His faithfulness to the important people in his life could be seen though steadfast ways. He was known for his quit wit, his smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. His family and friends remember him as a loyal, trusted and someone who could be counted on.
David was predeceaded by his wife (Dorothy), his son (James), his daughter (Kira) and grandson (David V.) David leaves behind a son: David Andrew Holloway IV (Karen), son Level Dove, daughter Dianna Harrell, daughter De Esther Dove-Everett; 23 grandchildren and an ever-growing number Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Sister-in-Law: Wenton (Debbie) Holloway, William Holloway, Jessie Mosher and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
