Condolence From: Terri (Sears) Brinckerhoff
Condolence: I am grateful to have spent an evening with Mr. and Mrs. Mattox and my mother, Rosemary Sears, about a year ago at an intimate musical event. We sat at a table for four and enjoyed appetizers, wine and a 70's band from Idylwild. Larry and I talked about our enjoyment in playing the "licorice stick". That is a clarinet, for those that do not know. It was a precious evening, indeed.

Condolence: When thinking back to my band experiences in the 60's at Hemet Elementary and Hemet High School Mr. Mattox always comes to mind. He was such a great leader. He always told us before our big competitions that we were only as good as our weakest member --which of course made us all play our very best. He gave us his very best too. So grateful of how he brought music into the lives of his students.
My condolences.

Condolence: I am terribly sorry for your loss. I personally know that it is never easy to lose someone you loved dearly. PLease take comfort in this encouraging scripture from the bible. At Acts 24:15 it says " And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Isn't that such a wonderful thought for the future. We will soon be able to see our dear loved ones that we have lost in death. I know this can not bring back your loved one, but I hope it brought some comfort. Again I am terribly sorry for your loss and you and your family are in our prayers
